We are looking for a responsible person who will be trained to conduct ultrasound on patients for the diagnosis of fatty liver.Deliverables:
  1. Conduct ultrasound of the liver
  2. Managing research activities of the project.
  3. Plan and execute project related data collection in the field.
  4. Assisting project coordinator in monitoring project progress and to handle any issues that arise.
  5. Attend and contribute to relevant meeting as necessary.
  6. Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports
  7. Asisiting team in development of study tools.
  8. Developing the report and presentation
  9. Prepare daily and weekly study report and submit to the supervisor.
  10. Any other work as assigned by the Principal Investigator.

Job Responsibility

  1. Engage the community leaders and brief them about the study objectives to assure the cooperation of their communities for the study
  2. Visit the randomly selected study subjects to motivate them for being part of the research study.
  3. Follow the guidelines of the data collection manual and guidelines developed for the study.
  4. Interact effectively and professionally with the study subjects.
  5. Conduct interviews of eligible subjects on standardized questionnaires and
  6. Perform anthropometric and clinical measurements and prepare weekly progress reports
  7. Counsel enrolled individuals on giving biological specimens and facilitate their visit to the AIIMS for ultrasound and fibroscan.
  8. Disburse lab results and other reports to the study participants and keep records
  9. Anticipate unusual situations and make quick and responsible decisions.
  10. Accurately record the information on the data record form
  11. Submit on a timely basis, accurate updates to the study investigator.
  12. Exhibit the flexibility necessary to multi-task.
  13. Adhere to Dress Code at all times
  14. Assist with editing and entering of data collected during survey
  15. Provide support in data management and related tasks.
  16. Any other task as assigned by the Investigators

Responsibilities

Job Description / Responsibilities:

The Senior Research Investigator will be located at the Centre for Chronic Disease Control, New Delhi. The duties/responsibilities of the Senior Research Investigator include:

  1. Coordinate project management activities, resources, equipment and information
  2. Support and oversee the day-to-day implementation of all programs in the field site and handle any issues that arise.
  3. Provide direct support, supervision and leadership to the field staff
  4. Act as the point of contact and communicate project status to the investigators
  5. Work in close coordination with the project coordinator and the investigators to eliminate blockers
  6. Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports
  7. Development of study tools.
  8. Coordination with other department and community leaders
  9. Monthly reporting.
  10. Provide constructive supervision to the Project coordinator to implement, monitor and evaluate work plans and monitoring & evaluation mechanisms.
  11. Any other work as assigned by the Principal Investigator.
Qualification:

  • Post-graduate degree in Public Health or equivalent
  • Minimum three years of experience in health research
  • Managerial skills
  • Publications in peer-reviewed journals
  • Excellent communication and writing skills
  • Ability to work well as part of a team and independently.
